Whenever we come accross art deco stpe cut diamonds such as this octagonal shape number, we are instantly smitten! Its hard to resist those pavilion facets pulling your eyes in towards the center of the stone, the broader facets catching light and colors from its surroundings, and of course, there are those dramatic deeply clipped corners. The stone is bright and lively, and faces up much whiter than a J to boot! A trye collector's diamond from the era.

We imagine her set in a variety of ways - perhaps with trapezoids on the shoulders? Or calibre-cut gemstones on the shoulders, perhaps?
