Vintage Qu'Hier, Que Demain Gold Ring, by A.Augis, French

The sentiment “+ qu’hier - que demain” comes from the French poem “Les Vieux,” by Rosemonde Gérard. The original full line translated into English reads, “And because I love you more and more each day, today more than yesterday but less than tomorrow.” The “+qu’hier - que demain” denotes specifically “more than today, less than tomorrow,” and designer Alphonse Augis in 1907 turned it into the famed token design featured on this ring! The little plug and minus signs are adorned with a small diamond and pair of rubies to add a little extra glam to an already luscious yellow gold. Both a token of love and a sweet testament to history, we absolutely adore this ring.

18kt yellow gold, size 6.75 & fully resizable.

Diamond is estimated to be H/I color & VS clarity. GIA standards.
