Made from a mold of an 1800s glass intaglio seal from England, an elegantly collared greyhound sits serenely with the motto “Fidelite” arching overhead. Fidelite, the Latin for “Faithful”, can surely be both a reference to man – or woman’s – best friend, but more likely a sweet reminder of one's faithfulness to those they love. Traditionally, a greyhound symbolizes courage, vigilance, and loyalty, all qualities that lend themselves to the essence of faithfulness. We rarely see circular/round antique intaglios and we just love the shape and how it hangs on the ear! Set in Seal & Scribe’s Signature setting – a contemporary nod to Georgian settings, the prong work is wonderfully crisp, and the rose diamond accents (approximately .30ctw) provide just enough subtle shimmer to dress these beauties up or down. The perfect accent to a t-shirt and jeans, or that reliable little black dress! These would make a beautifully sentimental addition to one’s wedding day jewelry suite, or perhaps to celebrate a special anniversary, birth, or life milestone!
