.95ct Victorian Old European Cut Diamond Belcher Solitaire
Wildly popular in the Victorian era, belcher rings are uniquely American, named after American designer Thomas Belcher. Belcher settings are distinct in that the diamond or gemstone is secured into the ring with prongs that are cut into the shank of the ring. We love them for their buttery feel on the finger, and their inherent charm on the finger.
This one has beautiful engraving along the shoulders, lending a romantic and airy nod to the ring. The diamond is lively and really does look much larger than its estimated carat weight.
18kt yellow gold, size and resizable.
Diamonds is estimated to be P/Q color & VVS clarity. GIA standards
