6.50ctw (est) Victorian Diamond Navette Brooch
One of the biggest navette clusters to fall into my lap of late! The central diamond is 1.96cts (formula by the appraiser comes to 1.90cts, but the stone was unmounted and this is the known weight), a chunky big guy with the prettiest warm color - going from a warm buttery yellow to a soft ivory, depending on the light source. Flanked by a pair of antique pears on the shoulders. In a surround of the brightest, chunkiest old mine cut diamonds! This brooch will be stunning worn on the lapel, a pocket, or perhaps as a scarf pin. Or, this pin would also convert beautifully to a ring or pendant - truly the possibilities are endless!
Silver & 18kt rose gold, 2" in length.
1.90ct center is estimated to be T/V color & Si2 clarity. GIA standards.
Surrounding diamonds are estimated to be J-N colors & SI average clarities. GIA Standards.
