JBG X MA Locks
One day I got a call out of the blue from Grace Lavarro, of Jewels by Grace. She wanted to make a lock that would hold old mine cut diamonds--diamonds that are over 100 years old with deep sparkle and a kind of light that is very different from modern diamonds. We got to work and are happy to bring you the JBGXMA Locks. Consider adding one of our Rolo chains with it as they look especially fetching on one. ~ Marla Aaron
The moment I stumbled upon Marla's locks on social media, I was instantly intrigued and mesmerized. They are functional, what I decidedly consider "industrious jewelry" and SO unique. And whilst I was conjuring images in my head of what I would use them for (hint: I am obsessive over clean rings that I always take mine off while washing and doing work with my hands - a very risky proposition, my friends), such as keeping my rings secure, hanging charms, and connecting my various chains, I decided I would ring Marla up and see if she would consider using old cut diamond melee in them. And the rest is history.
We feel we just amped the "unique and one-of-a-kind" factor with these old cut studded locks, don't you?
