Italian Lady Portrait Pearl Brooch/Pendant, By Corletto

$1,395
Oreste Giovanni Corletto was a pioneer of jewelry design and manufacturing in the 1960’s, after WWII had passed and European style and fashion was supreme. He was among the first to import Italian jewels and merchandise with the intent of reselling to retailers. His designs were often inspired by nature, crafted in 18kt yellow gold with gemstones and enamel.

This portrait of a fancy lady is an incredible piece of craftsmanship, with such fine detail from the painting to her own little jewels! In a halo of cultured pearls and rich enamel, she shines in the most regal, fancy lady way.

18kt Yellow Gold, 1.8" in height.

Stamped by Corletto of Italy, believed to be from the 1980s or 1950s.
