3.50ctw Georgian-era Antique Oval Rose Cut Diamond Solitaire
Our newest acquisition coming in hot from the Georgian Era! With all the makings of a jewel from this time period - the rustic rose cut, her foil backing, and ornate metalwork that you can tell was forged by hand. The purpose of the foil backing on the center stone’s is to increase the sparkle and brighten up the color of the diamond, since rose cuts are often less sparkly in the traditional sense. Along the shoulders and gallery are vine and floral-like motifs, with baby rose cuts peppered throughout, making it all the more special. The diamond itself also spreads like mad, with a high dome and incredibly enchanting look on the finger.
14kt yellow gold ring, 18kt yellow gold central bezel. Size 7 and resizable with limitations.
Center diamond is fancy brown, VS2/SI1 clarity, GIA standards. Side stones are I/K colors, SI clarities, GIA standards.
