Natalie Portman

We think Natalie Portman is a classic beauty, and luckily her now husband Benjamin Millepied chose a ring that is classically beautiful as well. The two met during the filming of Black Swan back in 2009. She was the lead ballerina in the film, and he was the choreographer, so we’re sure they got some intense one on one time. It was only a year later that they announced their engagement.

Benjamin was lucky enough to have befriended jewelry designer Jamie Wolf. In fact, Wolf had previously been a dancer herself, and they worked together in the New York City Ballet. After retiring from dance, Wolf moved on to be a jewelry designer where she seeks to bring the femininity and graceful of ballet to her pieces. Benjamin not only trusted his friend of more than 15 years, but since dance was his and Natalie’s first connection, it was a natural theme in the symbol of their love.

The ring boasts a 4 carat antique round cut diamond center stone with a double halo of pavé diamonds. All the diamonds used in the ring were certified conflict free set in recycled platinum. It was important to Portman to have a ring that was ethically made.

Natalie and Ben were married in 2011 in a private ceremony in Big Sur. Since then, she has worn two custom fit curved bands, also made in platinum and conflict free diamonds. He has a matching plain platinum band, and not only do the rings look great together, so do husband and wife.
