Chrissy Teigen

There has been more than one occasion that we had a nice little chuckle about something Chrissy Teigen has said- especially when it’s at the amusement of her rock star hubby, John Legend. From tweeting a pic of his incorrectly spelled name tag at the Golden Globes to poking fun at his sweet dance moves, we like how light hearted these two can be.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen first met when she was cast as in his 2006 music video for “Stereo”. It was love at first sight for the musician and model/ cookbook author. They dated for quite some time (in celebrity years!) before getting engaged in 2011. Legend popped the question while on vacation in the Maldives over the holidays. Apparently there had been a couple false alarms since the two find themselves in romantic settings quite often so Teigen was completely surprised when it actually happened for real. The ring is a extremely sparkly cushion cut diamond solitaire. The dazzler is in a four prong setting on top of a diamond studded band. Chrissy Teigen told Oprah she had never even heard of a cushion cut, but endlessly praised John for his impeccable taste. 

Teigen and Legend married in Italy in 2013, where they first confessed their love for each other. After the official nuptials, Chrissy started wearing her gorgeous engagement ring with two diamond eternity bands on either side- adding to that incredible sparkle factor. This coupled has always seemed downright happy together since. We think one listen to the song “All of Me” which he wrote about her is substantial evidence of that. A beautiful ring to represent a beautiful relationship.
